About

I'm an engineering leader who has spent my career shipping software across very different worlds - ad tech at Rubicon Project, public-safety systems at Mark43, a bootstrapped startup of my own, Google, and now crypto at Coinbase. The throughline has been building teams that take an ambiguous problem and turn it into something real.

At Coinbase I'm a Senior Engineering Manager leading engineering on Smart Wallet - the work of making onchain apps usable for anyone, without seed phrases or browser extensions. I care most about the parts of the job that never show up in a demo: clear systems, teams that trust each other, and products that hold up once real people depend on them.

Earlier I co-founded Trinsly, a recruiting tool we bootstrapped to more than 3M emails sent and an exit in 2021 - which taught me how to build from nothing, and what it costs. Outside of work, I've spent time teaching, including three years showing high-school students how to code through Code Nation.
